Pharmacy First
The NHS Pharmacy First Scotland service is provided for all patients registered in Scotland with a GP or registered address. It allows the pharmacist to diagnose and prescribe for certain minor conditions, saving a trip to the doctor.
Conditions which can be treated by the pharmacist on the scheme, include;
- Head Lice
- Athletes Foot
- Ringworm
- Fever
- Constipation
- Chicken Pox
- Heartburn / Indegestion
- Ulcers
- Oral Thrush
- Vaginal Thrush
- Allergies
- Warts / Verrucas
- Diarrhoea
- Urinary Tract Infections
- Skin Infections
If you call in to the pharmacy we can register you for the service. Our pharmacist can then prescribe you the most appropriate treatment for the condition you present with.
